About the Role
Nowell Care at Home is seeking caring and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. CNAs play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting independence at home.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).

Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.

Support meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.

Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.

Offer companionship and emotional support.
-
Record and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
-
Accompany clients to appointments or community activities when needed.
Requirements
-
Current CNA certification in North Carolina.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Current CPR/First Aid certification.
-
TB testing and up-to-date immunizations.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with mobility.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
-
1+ year of caregiving or home care experience.

Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, or chronic illnesses.
