About the Role

Nowell Care at Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing team. As part of our mission to provide high-quality home care, you will play a vital role in supporting clients’ health, independence, and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct skilled nursing care to clients in their homes.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor patient conditions and communicate with physicians and families.

• Educate clients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Collaborate with caregivers and the care team to ensure continuity of care.

• Participate in emergency response and disaster preparedness, as required.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or MSN).

• BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

• Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical care tasks.

• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience (home health or long-term care preferred).

• Experience working with older adults and individuals with disabilities.

• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
