About the Role

Nowell Care at Home is seeking caring and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. CNAs play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting independence at home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).

• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.

• Support meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.

• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.

• Offer companionship and emotional support.

• Record and report changes in client condition to supervisors.

• Accompany clients to appointments or community activities when needed.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in North Carolina.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current CPR/First Aid certification.

• TB testing and up-to-date immunizations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with mobility.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving or home care experience.

• Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, or chronic illnesses.

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
